Here is the square where the annual May flower festival is held!

It was a festival celebrating ‘renewal’ with the return of flowers and fine weather. Many of the activities centred on flowers, and almost everyone wore a carefully crafted wreath. One of the main attractions was the May tree! There were different ways of doing this depending on the location, but it involved a tree or a pole that was decorated with flowers and ribbons, which were woven together by holding the ends and dancing around the tree. You can still find this tradition today in a few regions ^^ Tradition also dictated that the tree from the previous year be cut down and burned, so that its ashes could be offered to nature ;-)

It's very easy to get this construction in your game, just follow these instructions:

Download the folder by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.

Open the folder and put everything it contains in the ‘Tray’ folder in your game, here's where to find it:

Voici le terrain qui célèbre l'annuelle fête des fleurs du mois de mai !

Il s'agissait d'une fête où on célébrait le "renouveau" avec le retour des fleurs et des beaux jours. Beaucoup d'activité tournaient autour des fleurs et presque tout le monde portait sa couronne confectionnait avec soin. L'une des principales activités était l'arbre de mai ! Il y avait différentes façons de faire en fonction des endroits mais il s'agissait d'un arbre ou d'un poteau que l'on décorait de fleur et ou on attachait des rubans que l'on tressait en attrapant le bout et en dansant autour de l'arbre. On peut encore trouver cette tradition aujourd'hui dans quelques régions ^^ La tradition voulait aussi que l'on coupe l'arbre de l'année d'avant et qu'on le brûle pour offrir ses cendres à la nature ;-)
