Writer Work from Home

Want more flexibility in the Writer career? This mod adds a work from home option, just like in the base game Style Influencer career! An hour before work, you can choose to send your Sim to work, work from home, or take PTO.

If you work from home, you’ll get two assignments to complete anywhere:

📝 Before choosing a branch, start building your skills by improving writing, reading plenty of books, and exploring different neighborhoods to spark inspiration.

📖 Authors focus on mastering the written word—keep leveling up writing and logic, read often, and spend time crafting and publishing your own books to grow your career from aspiring writer to best-selling novelist.

📰 Journalists get their stories on the ground—take photos at various venues, interview Sims, and attend festivals to stay in the loop. Dig deeper (sometimes literally!) by rummaging through bins for juicy info, then write and submit articles that make headlines.

You’ll still earn your full daily wage—half for each task. Everything else (work days, skills, wages) stays the same.
