Woohoo Island is highly detailed and passion-driven gameplay mod I have made with great dedication, love, and care to help you guys bring the villa into your games. As a watcher of the reality dating show Love Island, I have made this mod and modeled my ideas directly off of how the show is set up and organized. As the seasons of Love Island are ~35+ hours long and filled with many different monumental benchmark moments that make up a season, you can only imagine the time and effort went into putting this together!

As previously mentioned, this is a detailed mod with many, many different features. While I will be including information about the different features of the mod and how to use it, I HEAVILY RECCOMEND you watch the mod showcase video as I will be covering everything in this post and more as you will get to see it in game.

SET UP YOUR VILLAS

Enable the lot Woohoo Island Lot Challenge
Place your Woohoo Island Settings Controller
Use the Settings Controller to turn your sims into Islanders by assigning everyone their respective traits under the Islander Types Pie Menu

⚠️ If you do not see the Islander type traits appearing in your sims trait panel when you perform these interactions that means you most likely do not have Show Wants & Fears enabled in your game. In the same space where you toggle on and off autonomy you will see a box to check in order to enable this feature. After doing so the traits will now appear in game.

CHALLENGES

This mod comes with its own system for your sims to experience challenges via rabbitholes. Just like the show these challenges will have the ability to impact Islanders' romantic and friendly relationships in the villa as well as overall mood. By clicking on the Woohoo Island Settings Controller locate the Challenges pie menu. Here, you will see two interactions: Go to Challenge and About Challenges.

When your sims return from the rabbit hole, they will either get a buff, or you will be able to decide who they interacted with while away. If you are in charge, you will be able to select any Islander in the household to interact with during a challenge and get one of four possible outcomes: positive friendship, positive romance, and the respective negative friendship and romance.

BOMBSHELLS & CASA AMOR ISLANDERS

Bombshells and Casa Amor Islanders can be added to the villa and assigned their respective traits the same way as the typical Islanders, using the Woohoo Island Controller. After assigning them their traits new interactions and autonomous game features will become available to them. This includes custom popup interactions these sims can perform autonomously with the Islanders.

Bombshells and Casa Amor Islanders have an impact on the other Islander just through their presence. As you'll notice your Islanders getting different buffs when nearby and in the case of Casa Amor Islanders, maybe a little tension standing to impact their friendships as well.

PUBLIC VOTING

Via the new Woohoo Island App on the Islander's phone, you will see a new interaction to Read the Public's Vote. After performing this interaction sims will get a text on their phone letting them know of the results. Islanders can be made either safe or vulnerable and will receive buffs lasting 24 hours depending on their results.

RECOUPLING

Recoupling Ceremonies are created via the calendar as a holiday tradition at least a day before. When creating the holiday, you will find a custom holiday tradition to mark the day. After the holiday is created, you will find your sims get a custom buff before and during the holiday. At any time on the holiday, your sims will be able to form new coupling types with one another.

When your sims create new couples during the ceremony they will get custom milestones showing who they coupled with. Through this system you will be able to track the different couples each Islander made throughout their journey.

COUPLE TYPES

When recoupling your sims can enter 1 of 4 different coupling types: Reluctant, Romantic, Platonic, and Exploring. Each of these come with their very own gameplay features including interactions, sentiments, and new autonomous behaviors they can have with one another.

SET UP CASA AMOR

BEFORE your Islanders head different ways to start Casa Amor they need to say goodbyes. On the Woohoo Island App your sims will find an interaction to Start Casa Amor. After performing these interactions your sims will get a text to let them know all couples will have access to a new interaction. After EACH COUPLE says their goodbyes, they can then separate from one another, and head officially begin Casa Amor!

LEAVE CASA AMOR

On the last day of Casa Amor before you Islander reunites, both villas must throw a Final Casa Amor Ceremony. During the ceremony Islanders will be able to recouple with whoever they please regardless of previous couples they may have formed while there. During the even Islanders will find new interactions available in their couples: Create Casa Couple, Stay Loyal, or Let Fate Decide!

Every Islander will need to make their decision on whether they will bring back the connection they made in Casa or to leave them behind. After making their decision Islanders will get the respective buffs to reflect their decision. The buff will last two days. Islanders will need to return to the villa and reunite with one another before the buff expires.

RETURN FROM CASA AMOR

When the Islanders reunite from Casa Amor, for the best results, set up your sims as they are when they reunite in the show. Each Islander seeing if their former connection brought back someone from Casa Amor one at a time. Upon seeing each other the Islanders will instantly know and react to each other's decisions to bring someone back from Casa Amor or to stay loyal. Just like in the show, depending on their former relationship types before leaving the villa, sims reactions will stand to have large impacts on their relationships and their sentiments.

FINALE & CHOOSING WINNERS

When you are ready to have your final day on the Island schedule a new holiday on your calendar and add the Woohoo Island Finale holiday tradition. Sims will get a new buff sharing their feeling about the experience coming to an end the day before and the day of the finale.

On the last day there will be a new pie menu on the Woohoo Island Settings Controller, called Woohoo Island Finale. There you will find an interaction to choose your Woohoo Island Winners. When you select your winning couple commemorate their win with a kiss as you will see a cute special effect surround the two. The winning couple will both receive custom milestones to commemorate the moment!

However, the journey is not over as you will find both the winning Islanders got a text on their phone letting them know they still need to decide what to do with the money. On the Woohoo Island Setting Controller the winning couple will now find an interaction to Give Decision Power. When the sim of your choosing performs this interaction, they will get half of the prize money in their inventory along with a new tense buff for having the decision power. The other half of their couple will also get a new scared buff at not having the power. When both sims have their respective buffs, the sim with the power will find new interactions on their partner: Share the money, take the money, or let fate decide! What happens from this point and who gets the other half of the money is up to you...

AUTONOMOUS FEATURES

Since playing love island in the sims heavily relies on the autonomy of the sims, I have added several features that stand to impact the way the sims interact with and look at each other. These features are out of your hands and at the will of the sims. Look forward to new experiences and waiting to see what your Islanders do!

⚠️ This mod is base game compatible and does not REQUIRE any dlc in order for it to function. With that being said there are small details that take into account/make use of features from other packs. If you do not have these packs the absence of these features will go unnoticed.
