The lot challenge Reduce and Recycle from the Eco Lifestyle EP adds some features to waste management, one of these features being the poorly implemented Waste Manager NPC. This mod fleshes out the NPC and improves the lot challenge experience.

♻️ Features

• The Reduce and Recycle lot challenge is now added to all residential lots by default and can't be removed. All households will produce waste, and external trash cans will no longer have infinite capacity.
• A waste manager will come empty your sims' outdoor trash cans every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at around 7am. If you were on a different lot, you will get a notification when you arrive home to let you know they stopped by.
• The Empty Trash interaction is no longer available on outdoor garbage cans.
• Adding trash to a garbage can that is nearing its full capacity will no longer spawn garbage piles around it.
• Your sims will no longer get random trash piles added to their inventories when doing certain interactions.

📅 Planned Features

These features may or may not be added to the mod in the future.

• Lock out the Throw Away and Empty Trash interactions when there are no available trash cans.
• Allow the player to hire the service directly (for a fee) when they need immediate waste collecting.
• Add a menu to allow the player to disable/tweak certain features of the mod.
