Vampires Age Progression

Vampires now have age progression, they'll get older if they don't drink plasma for too long.

Vampires in vanilla stop ageing when they reach the young adult stage. This mod makes vampires age if they go too long without drinking plasma from a Sim.

 

There are two systems to select from: Time Based Ageing and Thirst Based Ageing. The first time you load a vampire into a family, you will be prompted to select one. You can select a different system for each vampire.

 

Time Based Ageing

Vampires will age if they don't drink for a long time. This method forces vampires to drink from Sims because they cannot maintain their youth with plasma packs and fruits. You have 7 days till the first ageing up. You'll receive updates on the progression at 2, 4, and 6 days. From the last notification, you have 24 hours to find a prey.

Thirst Based Ageing

When the vampire grows thirsty (motive in yellow), the timer will decrease and you will receive notifications as you get closer to ageing up. This approach can be managed using plasma packs and fruits. Once the points have been removed from the timer, they can only be restored with a real drink.

When the "Sanguinary Satisfaction" moodlet is active, vampires (adults and elders) can attempt to age down; the success of this power is determined by vampire rank and the amount of time remaining on the timer.

Unlocking the Manipulate Life Spirit perk grants vampires complete control over the ageing process.
