Mod Description: Using enhanced parenting techniques you too can inspire even the most disruptive toddler to invest in the greatest asset of all, themselves. With these enhanced skills, your toddler will be inspired and motivated to independently work on the skill of your choice. Their futures are in your hands so why not make sure it’s a good one!
Each of the five toddler skills: Communications, Imagination, Movement, Potty Training, and Thinking can be influenced. The toddler will interact with available and toddler appropriate objects to improve the skill you select.
Your ability to wield these powerful parenting techniques are available based on your parenting skill. They will appear in the parenting socials menu under the Toddler category.
These techniques can be used on any toddler that is your son or daughter, care dependent, or step child and at Level 7 parenting skill can be used on any toddler. You will gain parenting experience from influencing the toddler.
Keep an eye on your toddler to choose the right time for parenting as they will not act on your advice if their motives require assistance and attention or if they are in a bad mood.
- Potty Training is available at Parenting level 2 and requires a potty chair. If no potty chair is available the toddler will merrily continue doing whatever until one becomes available. If one is available, they will independently practice that skill one time.
- Movement is available at Parenting level 2 and the toddler will develop a keen interest in a random selection of dancing like no one is watching, running around, and going on a longer wandering stroll.
- Communication is available at Parenting level 3 giving the toddler a burst of inspiration that will have them talking to stuffed animals and, if no stuffed animals are available, random household objects.
- Imagination is available at Parenting level 4 and enables the toddler to explore the limits of their imaginations by engaging with, if available, dollhouses, toys, picture books, and music. If none of these objects are available the toddler will continue in whatever activity springs into their lively heads.
- Thinking is available at Parenting level 5 and enables the toddler to begin exploring the process of understanding their world by engaging with, if available, nesting blocks or examining random objects and contemplating the nature of existence.
The motivation for doing these activities usually lasts about 3 hours and does not prevent you or your toddler from otherwise interacting with anyone or anything should the need to do so arise.
And that’s it! Give your toddler the benefit of some first-class parenting and buy yourself enough time to make some grilled cheese without the expense of a nanny or the frustration of day care. Try it, you’ll be glad you did.
