Reduces excessive TV autonomy so Sims stop obsessively turning on TVs, endlessly channel surfing, and constantly gathering around the screen.

Tired of Sims endlessly turning the TV back on every few minutes?

Smarter TV Autonomy - Less TV Spam rebalances TV autonomy so Sims behave more naturally and don’t get stuck in constant TV-watching loops.

Instead of repeatedly hopping from one TV interaction to another, Sims will now:

Take proper breaks after watching TV
Be less likely to immediately restart another channel
Spend more time socializing, eating, cleaning, skilling, or doing other activities
Still watch TV autonomously sometimes — just in a more believable way

This mod does NOT disable TV autonomy entirely. Sims can still:

Watch TV on their own
Join family movie time
Watch their favorite channels
Be directed by the player normally

The goal is simply to reduce excessive TV obsession and create more balanced household behavior.
