Sim Canine Federation (SCF)

Your first show dog. Your first champion. A kennel with a history of its own.

Sim Canine Federation adds a connected world of dog shows, pedigrees, breeding and kennel management to The Sims 4. Train your dogs, develop your Sim’s handling skills and follow your kennel across generations—from a new litter to a place in the show ring.

What can you do with SCF?

• Enter dog shows. Take part in National and International competitions, choose a handler and enter your dogs. Review results, placements and the breakdown behind each score.
• Build a champion. Develop Show Handling and prepare your dogs through ring and stack practice. Training, handling, friendship and genetic strength all have a role in competition results.
• Explore pedigrees. Browse family connections and keep track of the dogs behind your breeding lines.
• Manage your kennel. Register a kennel, maintain dog records and follow your litters as your breeding program grows.
• Arrange breeding. Make stud requests and review breeding records and litter registrations.
• Use the dog market. Browse dogs by breed, view their profiles and pedigrees, and manage advertisements and reservations.
• Follow a living canine community. NPC households participate in SCF activities, with activity reports covering training, shows, breeding and the market.
• Work toward a new aspiration. Pursue the SCF Champion Handler aspiration while improving your Sim’s Show Handling skill.

About this download

This is the free public gameplay beta, r3. It includes the core SCF gameplay systems: competitions, registration, pedigrees, kennel management, breeding and the market.

Treadmills and kennel construction objects are not included in this package. Kennel management itself is included. Some screenshots or pages in the wider online guide may show equipment from other builds.

SCF is still in development. Back up your saves before trying the beta, and report any problems with the steps needed to reproduce them.

Requirements

• The Sims 4 on PC or Mac.
• The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs expansion.
• Custom Content and Mods, plus Script Mods Allowed, enabled in the game options.

Manual installation

1. Close The Sims 4 and extract the downloaded ZIP.
2. Remove older SCF files before installing this release. Do not combine files from different SCF versions.
3. Place the included .package and .ts4script files in your The Sims 4 Mods folder. Keep script files no more than one folder below Mods, and do not unzip the .ts4script files.
4. Enable Custom Content and Mods and Script Mods Allowed under Game Options → Other, then restart the game.

Keep the included files together: SCF’s systems share components. If you already use a newer development build, test this public release in a separate backed-up setup rather than mixing the two.
