What is Frozen Heart?

Frozen Heart is a mod that lets your Sim freeze. After applying the trait, your sim gets freezing abilities with which you can shake your neighbor sims to the core.

The trait is the main factor of this mod. It provides the ability to freeze sims without being a student of magic. Also, there are no pros and cons to casting deep freeze. Apart from the fact that you leave a negative impression on the audience or possibly freeze yourself.

You are surrounded by an aura of frost. Every Sim near you will be cooled down so that they start to shiver. But you don't care about that, because you don't feel any sensations for temperatures anymore due to your absolutely frozen heart.

Your breath freezes through you, so that it can be recognized in any situation.
And since your heart has not felt any warmth for a long time, you are also more difficult to bring into different moods, since many things seem indifferent to you. Both good and bad.

Breath Visible as in the cold around you
Interactions under "Frozen Heart" at target sims(self)
No spell restrictions like mages - but no advantages either (overload/learn)
The spell "Deep Freeze" is a variation of "Chillio" but is disconnected from the spellbook
Frostaura where sims in the vicinity start to freeze
Temperature insensitive
Moods that are according to indifferent reduced by 50%
Cryosleep - Who needs beds...

Installation:

Use CurseForge
Install it manually by extracting the .zip file in your mods folder: C:\Users\USER\Documents\Electronic Arts\Die Sims 4\Mods

Update:

Use CurseForge
Manually delete the mod file from the mods folder and put the new one in
As usual, make a backup of your save files :)

This mod is work in progress. More features will be added bit by bit as far as the technology and my time allows.

FAQ

How do I get rid of the effects?

Click on your sim and select the interaction "Frost Heart". Here you have the options to disable stuff

Is there a trait version available?

Yep, at and above V2.0

Can the mod be combined with Occults?

yes except werewolves

Does the tattoo have to be applied to both forms of a vampire?

It depends if you want to have the effect all the time. You can also just apply the tattoo to one of the two forms. So you get e.g. a nasty frost vampire form :)

Is the mod "XML Injector" needed?
Yes.

Do I need to own "Realm of Magic" "Go to Work" and "Seasons" to play with this mod?
Since the spells are modifications of the spells from "Realm of Magic", you must have that pack.

The weather system can only be manipulated if you have the "Seasons" pack.

"Go to Work" is recommended, since the glow of the aura is associated with it.
