Update Notes:
Fixed an issue where acquired lifestyles were not being tracked correctly.
The Socialite lifestyle will now trigger whenever a Sim is outdoors, including on their home lot.
As a result, the Recluse lifestyle will only apply when the Sim is indoors on their home lot.
Have you ever questioned the Indoor/Outdoor lifestyles? Especially the Indoor one. In my mind, being "indoorsy" means someone who doesn't leave their home. But in Sims 4, your Sim becomes an Indoor enthusiast even when going to bars or karaoke—as long as it's technically indoors. Even if the destination is an indoor venue, you're still out of the house, so that's not really "indoor," right? That's why I made this MOD.
This MOD overwrites the Indoor/Outdoor lifestyles and changes them to Recluse/Socialite lifestyles. You can only gain the Recluse lifestyle by staying at home. If you go out frequently, you'll gain the Socialite lifestyle—whether you're outdoors or indoors.
This is my first time making a MOD, so there might be some issues. If you notice anything wrong, please let me know.
How to Install
- Extract the zip file.
- Place the extracted files in your Mods folder. (The MOD won't be recognized if it's too deep in subfolders)
- Delete the localthumbcache.package file.
note:
- Requires Snowy Escape to function.
- If you want to keep the original Indoor/Outdoor lifestyles, do not install this MOD.
