Parental Trait

This is a new social Sims 4 trait for your Sims that are good with children! Base game compatible and available from ages young adult and up. No other mods or addtional files needed.

Trait description

These Sims make great parents. They tend to be more attentive towards children, they're supportive, and usually maintain good relationships with their kids.

Modifiers

• Increased relationship gain with teens and younger

Moodlets/Buffs

• Occasional "Feeling Parental" happy buff when around teens or younger
• Teens or younger can get a "A safe presence" happy buff when around Sims with the parental trait, this goes away as the relationship progresses

Other

• Conflicts with "Hates Children"
• Autonomy tweaks

From packs (Not required)

• Increased parenting skill gain
• Increased education career performance

Social interactions

• Give parenting advice
• Encourage dreams (Only avaliable to teens or younger)
• Praise accomplishments (Only avaliable to teens or younger)
• Give life advice (Only avaliable to teens or younger)
• Check in on well-being (Only avaliable to teens or younger)
