With this mod, celebrities will no longer invade all lots in your neighbourhoods.
The mod also reduces the generation of new townies significantly.
Sims that are required for gameplay purposes will still be generated.
The mod comes with several modules so you can temporarily get rid of modules if you feel you need more Sims of a certain kind.
Townieoverhaul is a modular mod. The most important modules are the main module and the nounimportant Sims module, so you should at least install these if you want significantly reduced townie generation and famous Sim spawning. Technically, you are still free to choose whichever modules you like.
This is the No New Weirdos module.
Weirdos are Sims with a special weirdo trait that are spawned in questionable outfits (racoon, towels, bathrobes, wresling mask,...) in the City Living world. With this mod, the game will not spawn any of those Sims. It will still use existing Sims in your save that have been generated before, so if you want to keep some weirdos in your save, you totally can.
