🟣 About The Mod
No Live Drag prevents objects from accidentally following your mouse while playing in Live Mode!
If you use click-and-drag to move the camera, you’ve probably already had a rug, laptop, or another object unexpectedly move along with your cursor. This mod prevents that from happening, while still allowing you to keep certain useful objects draggable if you want to.
It is still possible to drag and drop objects from a Sim’s inventory or an object inventory as usual.
⚠️ There may also be a very short delay before Live Drag is disabled on an object just after taking it out of an inventory.
🟣 How The Mod Works
There’s nothing to configure or click: once the mod is installed, objects simply stop following your mouse in Live Mode. Build Mode is not affected.
ℹ️ The mod comes in 3 versions, choose only one:
- Everything — Nothing can be dragged in Live Mode.
- Except Food, Drinks, Trash & Laundry — Meals, drinks, trash and dirty laundry remain draggable.
- Except Food, Drinks, Trash, Laundry & Books — Same as above, with books also remaining draggable.
Install only ONE version at a time.

🟣 Présentation du mod
No Live Drag empêche les objets de suivre accidentellement votre souris lorsque vous jouez en mode Vie !
Si vous utilisez le clic-glissé pour déplacer la caméra, il vous est peut-être déjà arrivé qu’un tapis, un ordinateur portable ou un autre objet se mette à suivre votre curseur sans que vous le vouliez. Ce mod empêche cela, tout en vous permettant de conserver certains objets utiles déplaçables à la souris si vous le souhaitez.
Il est toujours possible de faire glisser-déposer des objets depuis l’inventaire d’un Sim ou l’inventaire d’un objet comme d’habitude.
⚠️ Il peut y avoir un très léger délai avant que le Live Drag ne soit désactivé sur un objet juste après l’avoir sorti d’un inventaire.
🟣 Comment ça marche
Il n’y a rien à configurer ni aucune interaction à utiliser : une fois le mod installé, les objets cessent simplement de suivre votre souris en mode Vie. Le mode Construction n’est pas affecté.
ℹ️ Le mod est disponible en 3 versions, n’en choisissez qu’une :
- Everything — Plus aucun objet ne peut être déplacé à la souris en mode Vie.
- Except Food, Drinks, Trash & Laundry — Les repas, boissons, déchets et le linge sale restent déplaçables.
- Except Food, Drinks, Trash, Laundry & Books — Même chose, avec les livres qui restent également déplaçables.
Installez UNE SEULE version à la fois.
