More Hobby Traits

This Sims 4 pack features 15 new traits that can be found under the social category in CAS. These traits all affect skill modifers, career performance, contain occasional emotional outbursts - relevant to the individual hobby trait, and implement new trait-specific social interactions. This mod is basegame compatible, with no addtional mods or files needed. None of the traits are focused on pack-specific mechanics.

Astronomer

These Sims are deeply fascinated by space and the extraterrestrial. They love to stargaze, build rocket ships, and talk about their theories of the universe. They gain rocket science skill faster, do well in the astronaut career, and feel more focused than the average Sim.

Botanist

These Sims feel happiest when in a garden or surrounded by greenery. They're great at growing and caring for all sorts of plants. They gain gardening skill faster, do well in the gardener career, and feel inspired more often than the average Sim.

Comedy Lover

These Sims can't get enough of jokes. Whether it's telling jokes themselves or enjoying a good comedy show, a humorous moment is always welcome. They gain comedy skill faster, do well in the entertainer career, and feel playful more often than the Average Sim.

Computer Savvy

These Sims are fascinated by computers. Whether it's programming or gaming, these Sims love spending their time exploring the digital world. They gain video gaming and programming skill faster, do well in the tech guru career, and feel focused more often than the average Sim.

Cooking Enthusiast

These Sims love preparing meals and experimenting with different tastes. For them, cooking isn't a chore, but something that's greatly valuable to spend time on. They gain cooking skill faster, do well in the culinary career, and feel inspired more often than the average Sim.

Fitness Enthusiast

These Sims enjoy being active and pushing their bodies to the limit. Exercise is deeply fulfilling to them. They gain fitness skill faster, do well in the athlete career, and feel energized more often than the average Sim.

Fixer

These Sims don't mind getting their hands dirty and love repairing what's broken around the house. They gain handiness skill faster, do well in the manual laborer career, and feel focused more often than the average Sim.

Gourmet Foodie

These Sims don't just want to cook and taste good food, they want fine food. They excel in gourmet cooking and love to brag about their abilities in high-quality cuisine. They gain gourmet cooking skill faster, do well in the culinary career, and feel inspired more often than the average Sim.

Strummer

These Sims have a natural talent for playing the guitar. They enjoy spending their free time playing and talking about their instrument. They gain guitar skill faster, do well in the entertainer career, and feel inspired more often than the average Sim.

Painter

These Sims can easily spend hours expressing themselves through a paintbrush and an easel. They love to create and talk about their latest work. They gain painting skill faster, do well in the painter career, and feel inspired more often than the average Sim.

Pianist

These Sims love to sit down and let piano melodies carry them away. They're talented with the piano keys and love to talk about their musical endeavors. They gain piano skill faster, do well in the entertainer career, and feel inspired more often than the average Sim.

Problem Solver

These Sims love mental challenges. Whether it's programming, chess, or simply gazing at the stars, they can't get enough. They gain logic skill faster, do well in the tech guru and astronaut career, and feel focused more often than the average Sim.

Shutter-Lover

Shutter Lovers love photography and are always looking for the next moment to capture. They gain photography skill faster, do well in the freelance fashion photographer career, and feel happy more often than the average Sim.

Violinist

These Sims have a flourishing passion for playing the violin and don't mind spending hours perfecting their craft. They gain violin skill faster, do well in the entertainer career, and feel inspired more often than the average Sim.

Writer

These Sims love to write stories and get easily captivated by the worlds created through words. They gain writing skill faster, do well in the writer and freelance writer career, and feel inspired more often than the average Sim.

Slight disclaimer, these traits are quite a bit simpler than some of my other complex and heavy emotional, lifestyle, and social traits. Like stated above, they still all contain modifiers, buffs and social interactions, but they're specifically focused around a base game skill. I will update this in the future, with more traits and more content for the existing ones! :D
