Messy Play is a Toddler Activity for your toddler Sims! Sign them up, and they head off on their own to Messy Play for the morning! Four hours of paint, water, cornflour and general filth. Your toddler squashes dough, splashes about and makes handprints on absolutely everything. This activity includes toddler skill gains, activity tones, rank perks and custom moodlets!

HOW TO JOIN: Click your toddler as the adult Sim and go to Toddler Activities → Find a Toddler Activity. A window opens showing every club you have installed, each with its icon and a short description. Pick one to sign them up! Any teen or older Sim can sign them up. One club at a time, so there are never any clashes!

CLUB SESSIONS: Every day, 9am to 1pm. Your toddler sets off on their own between 9 and half past and is back in time for lunch!

TODDLER SKILL INCREASES: Messy Play builds Imagination and Movement Skill. The skill bar shows its gold ring while they're away, just like at home.

TONES: Picked right from your toddler's portrait while they are at the club, just like a career tone for adults. Messy Play is the balanced default. Finger Painting builds Imagination fastest. Squash the Dough builds Imagination and Movement. Water Play builds Movement.

RANKS: Your toddler starts as a New Face, becomes a Messy Play Regular after about five sessions, and a Little Star after about ten. Each rank has its own moodlet and a notification when they move up. A Regular picks up Imagination 15% faster, a Little Star 30% faster, at the club and at home.

CUSTOM MOODLETS: 'Had a Great Time' leaves your toddler Happy after a good session. 'All a Bit Much' leaves them Uncomfortable if they come home worn out. Plus moodlets for being a member, being at the activity, and every rank.

LOOKED AFTER: Sessions are four hours, and your toddler is fed, changed and sleeps while they are away, so nobody comes home unhappy!

DAYCARE FRIENDLY: Parents at work? Messy Play collects your toddler from daycare in the morning and hands them back afterwards, and you can still pick their tones while they're away.

FIND A TODDLER ACTIVITY MENU: One window lists every club you have installed, and it grows automatically as you add more bundles. Clubs your toddler can’t join show greyed out with the reason why. Plus the Toddler Activities pie menu, icons, session notifications, and one small shared script that covers every club, including future bundles.

UPDATE 11TH OCTOBER 2026: Added the new Find a Toddler Activity menu, which replaces the old Sign Up options and fixes a Better Exceptions warning. The Core script has been updated, so please replace your old club files and Core script with the new ones. Sessions, tones, ranks and perks are unchanged.

REQUIREMENTS: Base game compatible. Toddler Sims only. XML Injector is required: Download HERE. Requires the Toddler Activities script (Lily-Valley_ToddlerActivities_Core.ts4script), included with every activity. You only need to keep just one copy in your Mods Folder and make sure script mods are enabled in Game Options.
