While it is designed to be the perfect companion for brewing herbal teas, it retains all the versatile features of a modern kitchen kettle.

📝 Creator's Notes: Visual & Functional Trade-offs

This Health Pot is created based on the base game's Electric Kettle. To make it look like a realistic modern health pot, I gave it a brand new appearance. Because its shape differs from the original EA kettle, I had to make a few minor, deliberate compromises to balance native gameplay mechanics with a smooth user experience:

1. Animation Adaptation

Because the shape of this Health Pot is unique, in order to perfectly fit the Sims' native pouring and grabbing interactions without breaking the immersion, I made a very slight rotation adjustment to the pot's body. This ensures that your Sims' hands line up naturally with the handle during animations.

2. Minor VFX Light Leakage

You might notice a very slight "light bleed" from the built-in visual effects when using it. My original plan was to use custom VFX, but that would require you to download an extra third-party mod (Custom VFX Resource By MizoreYukii). To keep this mod friendly for beginners and players who prefer minimal installation requirements, I compromised and only modified the game's built-in VFX.

3. Boiling Liquid Texture Trade-off

Since this is a "Health Pot", my original vision was exclusively for brewing tea, so the boiling liquid texture is customized to look like herbal tea. However, to keep the appliance practical, I decided not to remove the base game kettle's ability to make coffee and hot cocoa. I didn't want to force you to clutter your kitchen counters with two different kettles! Therefore, even when your Sims prepare coffee or cocoa, the boiling liquid inside will still look like tea. I hope you can understand this small compromise for the sake of gameplay convenience!
