This mod reduces or removes the amount of time it takes for a Sim to give birth. This effects the bassinet, Have Baby, Have Baby at Hospital, and Have Science Baby interactions. It does not affect the interactive hospital trip from Get to Work, so if you have Get to Work and select Have Baby at Hospital, you will also want to select "Send Alone" when the dialogue box appears, instead of "Join." It also does not work on animals.
While this mod removes the arbitrary delays involved in those interactions, it may still take time for the game to generate the baby depending on the speed of your computer and the size of your save file.
You can choose between the Faster Labour version, or the Even Faster Labour version. The Faster Labour version reduces the delay to 5 in-game minutes, which fits the "New Baby" jingle that plays in the background and still looks relatively nice and tidy, while the Even Faster Labour version goes as fast as possible! Only install one!
