This mod makes the Gym more interesting by preventing entry until you pay to use the equipment and introducing a Gym Membership system and a Gym receptionist to the venue. Add a computer and the Front Desk from Get To Work to the Gym, and the receptionist will utilize them; Get To Work is not required for the mod to work because the role does not require the front desk.

 

 

The use of the Gym is blocked until you pay

This means that you cannot exercise or even use the showers or lockers until you acquire a Day Pass or a Membership.

 

 

Receptionist added to gym venues

When you visit the lot, you will now be greeted by a Receptionist in addition to the Gym Trainer. You can purchase memberships and day passes from them, inquire about the various packages, and maintain your existing membership.

 

 

There are four options for unlocking the Gym:

    - Day pass: only unlocks the equipment while you remain on the lot; if you leave and return, you must pay again.
    - Silver membership (7-day admission to the gym)
    - Gold Membership (14-day admission to the gym)
    - Platinum Membership (28-day admission to the gym)

Bracing Breezes lot trait changes the type of Gym

Adding the lot trait transforms the gym into a premium gym

 

 

A membership purchased on a lot with the Bracing Breezes trait is valid in all Gyms, whereas a membership purchased on a lot without the trait is only valid on lots that do not have it. You can upgrade your membership by asking the Receptionist.

 

 

New App on the phone

Memberships can also be purchased and handled over the phone; this is a backup plan in case the receptionist does not show up.

 

 

Extending a Membership

Before a membership ends, the reception or the phone will give you the option to extend it for an extra 7, 14, or 28 days.

 

 

You can also set up an automatic renewing system that will keep your Sim's membership going if they have enough money.
