24-Hour Clock

Tired of squinting at AM/PM? This mod switches the game's main clock to a clean 24-hour format — so 7:25 PM simply reads 19:25.

What it does

• Replaces the 12-hour AM/PM time on the main clock (the bottom time bar) with a 24-hour display.
• Keeps the day of the week (e.g. Sat 19:25), shown in your game's own language.
• Updates live every in-game minute and stays in sync with the fast-forward speed effect.
• Always shows 24-hour time regardless of language — made for English and other regions that default to AM/PM.

What it changes

Only the main clock in the speed/time bar. It's a lightweight interface override — no gameplay changes and no script, so it's safe to add or remove at any time.

Compatibility

• Built and tested on patch 1.124.63.
• This is a UI override, so it will conflict with any other mod that edits the same speed/clock panel — use only one of them.
• A future game patch that reworks this panel may require an update.

Installation

1. Download the .package file.
2. Place it in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods (no more than one folder deep).
3. Enable Mods / Custom Content in Game Options → Other.
4. Launch the game — the clock now reads in 24-hour time.

Known limitations

• Only the main HUD clock is converted. Other time displays (career/work panel, university, calendar, mail notifications) still follow the game's default format for now.
• If your game language already uses a 24-hour clock (for example Spanish), this mod has no effect.

Uninstall

Just delete the .package from your Mods folder. Nothing else is touched.
