Every clique has a hierarchy! Will your Sim become the name everyone knows or the one nobody invites?

Crank up the high school drama with Clique Life! Your teen Sims can fight for a spot in the Popular, Rebel, or Nerd clique using the CH Groups (Copperdale High Groups) phone app. Will their traits, grades, and friendships get them in, or will they face rejection? Once in, unlock a pie menu with clique-exclusive interactions, host clique gatherings or go to clique hangouts.

• Cliques: Popular, Rebel, or Nerd - choose your crew!
• GH Groups App: Join via phone, but only if you’ve got the right traits, grades, and friends. If your sims are good enough, they may even be recruited by a clique!
• Exclusive Socials: New pie menu with clique-specific interactions.
• Host Clique Gatherings. This is will invite over teen sims who are in high school, that are in the same clique as your sim. Sims invited over in the nerd gathering will wear nerd outfits.
• Clique Perks: Sims now gain unique benefits while in a clique - such as faster skill growth, social boosts, or need reductions. For example, Nerds gain Programming and other tech skills 10% faster. See below for more detailed information.
• Send your sims to a variety of clique hangouts, (Rebels, Popular, Nerd) depending on your sims popularity rank within the clique). But beware, some hangouts can get costly, and may not even turn out well.
• Popularity system with 6 ranks for each clique (Rebels, Popular, Nerd). Work your way up the ranks by attending clique hangouts. (amended in v1.5.0 for a better design system, merges both clique trait and rank in 1). See update notes for more info)
• Updated icons for the Popular, Nerd, and Rebel cliques to match each group’s personality and vibe.

NOTE: Updates will continue to be released if there's enough interested. I do expect there may be some bugs, please report these if you come across any and I will fix.

JOINING A CLIQUE

CH Groups - Your sims will find a new app in their phone, CH Groups. They can ask to join a clique here, and if they meet the requirements then they will be accepted. If not, they may get snubbed! Or if they're good enough, they may even be recruited by a clique. Currently, CH Groups will also allow those in the nerd clique to start a nerd gathering which will invite over other teens that are in the nerd clique. (This will also be available to other cliques soon!)

UPDATE v1.4.0 - Clique hangouts, popularity system and more

INTRODUCING CLIQUE HANGOUTS (REBEL & POPULAR)

This new update introduces clique hangouts for your sims. You can now send sims in the Rebel Clique or Popular Clique to various away activities. Some activities may be locked depending on your popularity rank within your clique. Away activties will improve your sims Charisma or Fitness skills. (This will be modified in the coming updates, to tailor the skills better to each activity). Be careful though, as the hangouts can get costly, especially in the popular clique. Your sim should come home with a buff and a notification, telling you about their time (this can be bad or good) - and for some house parties, there's a rare chance the police may show up.

INTRODUCING THE POPULARITY SYSTEM (REBEL & POPULAR) 

A popularity system has been introduced for rebel & popular cliques. Your sim starts at the lowest with a total of 6 ranks per clique, and can work their way up by going to the away activtiies, and having successful outcomes. (I will adjust this later on, so there will be other ways to gain popularity too)

GETTING RECRUITED

Your teen sims may be recruited by a clique. You will then have the option if you want to accept or decline the clique. Some spoilers below:

SOCIAL INTERACTIONS

Once your sim has joined a clique, they will now have extra social interactions available related to their clique. For example, nerds can brag about their grades or even be made fun of by other cliques. Some spoilers below:

CLIQUE GATHERINGS

Host a clique gathering for rebels, popular or nerd cliques. They will have the option to invite over other teens who are in their clique.

SOCIAL CLIQUE PERKS

Sims in a social clique will now have perks. This can range from 10% faster skill gains from a skill related to the social clique, friendship gains, or even need gains.
