I am presenting the new version of this mod. The biggest change is an add-on - that adds a Custom Career Day event that you can plan for any day you want. However the in-game event also got some additions, new interactions.

The description is long, but should answer entirely how this mod works and what it adds. Also, remember to delete the previous version, as the name changed.

New changes within in-game Career Day:

Veterinarian representative added to career stand pool (updated status for all stands below). The only minus is that Vet doesn't have a career outfit

The Ultimate Career Guide - a book your Sim can take from the career table, I think I covered there all ways of getting income, apart from crafting. There are categories and under each categories there are specific careers/jobs. (Note for modders of custom careers: you can add your own careers to this book, using injector and copying interactions I used for in-game careers. I can help with that if there are any questions.)

Take a Lollypop - new interaction at the career table that is available when you have Businesses & Hobbies EP.

Take a Treat - new interaction at the career table that is available when you have Spooky Stuff SP ;)

Removed override from in-game jobs filtering - if any other creator is overring this as well (like DannitySimmer) this will no longer conflict.

NEW CUSTOM CAREER DAY EVENT

With an add-on you can now plan in the calendar or organize straigh away a Career Day that will last 10h and can be planned for any day of the week, in Auditorium (general lot) or Library. It is a copy of exact career day from the game, just tweaked. You still need the High School Year pack to use it. I do not plan to make it base game compatible at this point. It could be possible with some changes, but I need to focus on some other mods right now, I need the break from this topic.

What's different:

Basically the event looks the same and has the same additions that I introduced in the in-game event, so 6 stands, more careers, more interactions etc. (although I had to create a lot of things from the scratch to make them work outside the active High School, it was quite a tedious work).

There's few things new:

Active participant can be of all ages. Eventually, I decided to go this way, cause the event could be organized anyway by a Sim of any age (game mechanism), so there was no reason why they couldn't simply participate actively.

You can (but it's not a requirement) invite other participants (teens or young adults), up to 3, but more teens will come anyway.

Special Guest job - it's the 7th job representant that you can invite on your own. That way you can invite a Sim also with a CUSTOM CAREER. Modders don't need to make any changes for that to happen. If you know that a certain Sim has a certain career within your save, and you want THAT Sim to show up - you can. It will work also with regular careers. However, the Special Guest will reply only to 1 question - details about the career and the reply will be simply info, where they work. (Note for modders of custom careers: if you want, you can inject new interaction that will be available only during this event and your job representant will be able to answer that).

Teacher was replaced by Career Advisor - just the change of the title ^^ and no need to invite, they'll come on their own.

New goals during the event - you don't need to follow it, but people sometimes install mods and don't know what they add, so it is a small addition to show what else you can do during the Career Day :D

Rewards - nothing big, just a small benefit if you actually talked to job representatives and found some interesting careers

IMPORTANT NOTE:

You need to place 6 career tables (each in different color) for the guest speakers to give their presentations. If you decide to invite a special guest of your own choice - you must place additional 7th career stand - in green color, specifically (it's the custom recolor I created). Each job representant is connected with special stand color. In the original event it's solved differently, but I couldn't make it work in my custom event due to some in-game logic, that I couldn't figure out.

Fun fact:

That I discovered only during this longer event, but it will also apply to normal Career Day event. If you make a job representant to leave the event - they will be replaced almost immediately with new one. Not always, but often the new comers will represent different careers.

I think that's all from news. So below the old description of what this mod was adding so far.

CORE of this mod released so far:

3 additional stands (don't forget to place them on the lot for the job representatives!)

22 additional careers are added to the pool (now there are 31 careers in all):

1st additional stand: Civil Designer, Engineer, Scientist, Conservationist, Gardener, Naturopath, Vet, Park Worker
2nd additional stand: Tech Guru, Writer, Law, Education, Activist, Mortician, Salaryperson;
3rd additional stand: Painter, Social Media, Entertainment, Critic, Style Influencer, Romance Consultant, Actor.

3 new interactions to each Job Representative: Ask About Possible Salary / Ask About Helpful Skills /Ask About Suitable Studies - always with answer

Now when Sim asks for Details about career - they will get answer as well, there will be name of the company hiring and career description.

Ask About Possible Scholarships - gives general information about the scholarships (available only if you have Discover University EP)
Ask About Scholarships Chances - gives specific advices for the given Sim (available only if you have Discover University EP)

My mod is compatible with Schedule School Events: Prom, Exams and Career day by SonozakiSisters. Both mods complement each other perfectly :)
