Why did I make this?
I love drama in my game (not so much in real life). A while ago I started playing with the Landgraabs for the first time ever. And when Nancy finally agreed to have another baby with Geoffrey, he soon realized that he just can't raise another child in this toxic household full of evil snobs. He had to run away with their newborn.
And you know, sometimes a Sim just wants to end things with their partner. Without all that confrontation and having to explain themselves and all the tears and exhausting emotional labor. Just leave a letter on the nightstand and disappear into the night soap opera style.
So I made a mod.
How does it work?
1. Click the sim icon in the relationship panel and choose Dump Via Letter. (Or buy the Breakup Letter debug object in Buy Mode)
2. Write the letter.
3. (Optional: run while you can)
4. Other sims can read the letter as well and their reaction depends on their personalities. Evil sims will find it hilarious.
5. When the actual recipient reads the letter, their relationship ends.
Requirements
- Base Game only, no packs needed
- Lot51 core library
- Doesn't override any EA files so should't conflict with other mods now or in future.

NOTE: Relationships and breakups are really complex now with romance dynamics, satisfaction levels, fears, sentiments, grief and so on. I obviously couldn't test every possible scenario so if you encounter any weird stuff, like grief triggering on the dumper instead of the dumped sim, please let me know in the comments or DMs!
NOTE 2: Relationship panel interaction doesn't show up if the other sim is sleeping. I tried to fix that but couldn't figure it out. You can either wake them up or buy the Breakup Letter debug object in the Buy Mode.
