Welcome to Beyond The Base, a collection of Sims 4 Traits that add to your Sims personalities, making them a little more unique.

This set contains 20 traits in five different categories.

Emotional Traits: Caring, Dense, Inconsiderate, Intuitive, Rude.
Hobby/Career Traits: Educated, Expert, Micromanager, Respected, Unprofessional.
Lifestyle Traits: Organised, Reckless, Spontaneous, Sporty, Wanderlust.
Social Traits: Affectionate, Blunt, Honest, Independent.

Emotional Traits

Caring: These Sims gain Parenting, Charisma, and Romance skill faster and form friendships and romantic relationships more quickly. They tend to be Happier than other Sims, are family-oriented, and may gain a Moodlet when influencing younger Sims to complete tasks like homework or chores.

Dense: These Sims gain Mental skills such as Logic, Programming, Research & Debate, and Rocket Science more slowly than others. They may excel more in creative pursuits and may gain a positive Moodlet while painting as it's nice to finally be good at something.

Inconsiderate: These Sims gain Comedy and Charisma skill faster, but find it harder to build friendships and romantic relationships. They can develop Wellness skill faster if they attempt to improve themselves. They are more prone to feuds and struggle to develop Empathy, Emotional Control, and Conflict Resolution. Inconsiderate Sims may be angrier and may gain a Moodlet around Mean, Hot-Headed, or Evil Sims.

Intuitive: These Sims gain Wellness, Mediumship, and Charisma skill faster. Their Social need decays more quickly, but friendships and romantic relationships develop faster thanks to their caring nature. Intuitive Sims gain Empathy and Conflict Resolution more easily than others and may receive a positive Moodlet while meditating.

Rude: These Sims gain Charisma and Comedy skill more slowly and build friendships at a reduced rate. They develop Manners and Empathy more slowly, behave more harshly than other Sims, and may gain a Confident Moodlet from mean interactions.

Hobby/Career Traits

Educated: These Sims gain Logic and Writing skills faster, but develop Charisma and Mischief more slowly. Energy decays faster, and they are more likely to be Focused, Inspired, and Intelligent. Educated Sims enjoy reading and may gain a positive Moodlet when achieving career fulfillment in Writing, Science, or Education fields.

Expert: These Sims gain Logic, Handiness, Programming, and Research & Debate skills faster, but develop Comedy more slowly. Fun decays more slowly as they enjoy learning and teaching, but friendships form more slowly due to their know-it-all tendencies. They are Confident and Intelligent, and may gain a Confident Moodlet when excelling in their career and wearing career attire.

Micromanager: These Sims gain Logic and Research & Debate skills faster, but Charisma more slowly. Fun and Social needs decay faster, and friendships develop more slowly. Micromanagers are Neat, Intelligent, and prone to Stress. They may gain a stressed Moodlet when in positions of authority or high career levels.

Respected: These Sims gain Charisma and Logic skills faster, but develop Mischief more slowly. Social need decays more slowly, while Fun decays faster. Friendships form more quickly, and they gain Reputation faster thanks to good manners, emotional control, and responsibility. They are Confident, Intelligent, and well regarded, and may gain a positive Moodlet when reaching prestigious careers like Doctor.

Unprofessional: These Sims gain Comedy skill faster but develop Logic and Charisma more slowly. Fun decays more slowly, while Hygiene decays faster. Romance develops more quickly, but friendships take longer to form. Unprofessional Sims are playful, goofy, and may appear a little sloppy, and are less likely to become focused.

Lifestyle Traits

Organised: These Sims gain Logic, Programming, and Cooking skill faster, and their Energy, Hunger, Hygiene, and Bladder needs decay more slowly due to their structured routines. Fun decays faster, as they have little time for leisure. Organised Sims form friendships quickly but develop romantic relationships more slowly. They are Confident, Neat, and Intelligent, and may feel Happier when cleaning.

Reckless: These Sims gain Comedy, Mischief, and Charisma skills faster. They form romantic relationships quickly but friendships more slowly, as others see them as unpredictable. Reckless Sims are more Confident, affectionate, and playful than most, though sometimes appear childish or lazy. They may feel energized in nightclubs.

Spontaneous: These Sims gain Creative skills faster as they explore multiple hobbies at once, though they may struggle to stick with one. Their Fun need decays faster, reflecting their desire for constant new experiences. Spontaneous Sims form romantic relationships more quickly and tend to be Adventurous, Energized, Confident, and Playful. They may feel Happier while practicing creative skills like Pottery or Tattooing.

Sporty: These Sims gain Fitness and Dancing skill faster but develop Logic more slowly. Their Energy and Hygiene needs decay faster due to active lifestyles, while Fun decays more slowly. Sporty Sims form friendships and romantic relationships more quickly and often feel energized and competitive. They may feel Happier when improving their Fitness skill.

Wanderlust: These Sims gain Fitness and Wellness skills faster as they pursue active, adventurous lifestyles. Fun need decays faster, reflecting their constant search for new experiences. Wanderlust Sims are often Inspired and enjoy spending time outdoors. They may feel Happier while on vacation or exploring new locations.

Social Traits

Affectionate: These Sims build Charisma and Romance skill faster and develop romantic relationships more quickly. Their Social need decays faster than average, pushing them to seek connection often. Affectionate Sims are flirtier than most and may gain a Flirty Moodlet after kissing.

Blunt: These Sims gain Charisma more slowly and tend to build friendships and romances at a reduced rate. Their direct nature can come across as harsh, causing social connections to suffer.

Honest: These Sims gain Charisma faster and form friendships and romantic relationships more quickly. Their straightforward nature is well received by others, and they tend to be happier than other Sims.

Independent: These Sims gain Fitness, Snowboarding, and Skiing skill faster, but progress more slowly in Charisma. They also build Handiness, Cooking, and Gardening skill more quickly, preferring to rely on themselves rather than others. Their Social need decays more slowly as enjoy being alone, and may gain a Happy Moodlet when their Social need is low.

Talkative: These Sims gain Charisma, Comedy, and Romance skills more quickly. Their Social need decays faster, but friendships and romances grow at an accelerated pace. Talkative Sims are generally perceived as good and may feel Happier when around other Talkative Sims.
