The Ballroom Invitations Mod adds a new way for your Sims to receive elegant invitations to exclusive balls. 💌

How it works

 

 

The interaction is available on the mailbox, and only Sims who live in Ondarion can use it.

 

Through this interaction, your Sim can check their mailbox to see if they’ve received an invitation to a ballroom event.

 

 

Once your Sim checks the mailbox and receives an invitation, the ballroom event will start 1 hour later, giving them time to freshen up, choose their best outfit, and get ready for the event.

 

 

Event location

My intention was to keep the ballroom events restricted to the world of Ondarion. However, whenever I used the Lounge venue type, the game would often select lounges from other worlds and send Sims there.

Because of that, I set the event to use the Backroom venue type instead.

 

To choose where your balls will take place, you can simply edit the lot you want and change its venue type to Backroom.

 

This is currently a workaround so the event can function more reliably. Once I find a better solution, I may update the system in a future version.

Observations

Invitations and guests are intended to be Sims who live in Ondarion. However, this may vary depending on how the game selects NPCs for events. If there are not enough Sims in the world, or not enough qualifying Sims for the event, the game may select Sims from other worlds to fill the guest list.

 

This is the first version of the mod. If you find any issues or bugs, please let me know so I can fix them.

Como funciona

 

 

A interação está disponível na caixa de correio, e apenas Sims que moram em Ondarion podem utilizá-la.

 

 

Por meio dessa interação, seu Sim pode verificar a caixa de correio para ver se recebeu um convite para um evento de baile.

 

 

Depois que seu Sim verifica a caixa de correio e recebe um convite, o evento de baile começará 1 hora depois, dando tempo para ele se arrumar, escolher seu melhor traje e se preparar para o evento.

 

 

Local do evento

Minha intenção foi manter os eventos de baile restritos ao mundo de Ondarion. No entanto, sempre que eu utilizava o tipo de lote Salão, o jogo frequentemente selecionava Salões de outros mundos e enviava os Sims para lá.

Por causa disso, configurei o evento para usar o tipo de lote Sala Privativa.

Para escolher onde seus bailes acontecerão, você pode simplesmente editar o local desejado e alterar o tipo de lote para Sala Privativa.

No momento, isso funciona como uma solução alternativa para que o evento funcione de forma mais natural. Assim que eu encontrar uma solução melhor, poderei atualizar o sistema em uma versão futura.

Observações

Os anfitriões e os convidados são pensados para serem Sims que vivem em Ondarion. No entanto, isso pode variar dependendo de como o jogo seleciona os NPCs para eventos.

Se não houver Sims suficientes no mundo, ou Sims suficientes que atendam aos critérios necessários para o evento, o jogo poderá selecionar Sims de outros mundos para completar a lista de convidados.
