I created this mod with the intention of creating a system in the game that reflects how I would imagine clubs for teens would function had they been included in game. Rather than using a workaround mod to allow the get together clubs to meet anywhere, I wanted to make a mod to actually add high school club features and still allows them to meet a variety of places (Yes, including the High School and Auditorium).

This is part 1 of this mod, centered around base game compatible activities. With that being said, there is additional support for activities that fall into these categories but are not base game such as: flower arranging, singing, pottery, and more!

ASSIGNING CLUB MEMBERS

At any point Club Advisors (YA - Elders), Club Presidents (Teens), and Club Members (Teens) can be assigned to positions in any club. By shift-clicking a sim or Club Poster, found in build & buy, you will have access to the Club Manager pie menu. If you decide to use the Club Poster to assign positions, keep in mind the sim must be in the zone to properly function.

While sims can hold more than one Club Position in different clubs, I recommend doing so at your own discretion as each club comes with its own pie menu and additional interactions.

HOW TO JOIN CLUBS

There are two ways to join a club: Friendship with a Club President or a Trial Invite.

Any time Club Presidents will be able to invite friends to join their club and be asked to join club. If this interaction in performed successfully, that sim will be granted automatic membership into the club.

Trial Invites are a way for your sims to sit in on a club meeting before deciding to officially join. Trial Invites can be obtained at any time through affiliated club members, advisors, and faculty (principals, teachers, etc. Requires HSY). Be careful, where you get your trial invite from matters.

After receiving a Trial Invite, your sims will have 48 hours of free admission to Club Gathering social events. Once the event is actively at gold level, you will be able to ask the Club President to officially become a member of the club.

THE CLUB FAIR

The Club Fair is a chance for Club Presidents to recruit new members and students to join clubs. This is a tabling event meant for Club Presidents to show off the creations made by each of their clubs as well as speak and talk up their clubs. As such, in order for this event to be fully functional, you will need to use certain items included in this pack: Club Fair Presidents' Chair, Club Fair Table or Club Fair Table (Fancy). This event also needs an accessible microphone for Club Presidents to use.

When prepping a space for this event, you will find the Club Fair Presidents' Chair swatches have icons and correlating sticky notes on the backs of the chairs. This indicates which table belongs to which Club President. You will need to properly place each swatch, so the sims know where to sit.

CLUB GATHERINGS

There are 4 clubs included in this mod and therefore 4 different types of Club Gatherings. The behaviors sims naturally perform during meetings are dependent on the club type, and the items available on and off the lot. This mod focuses on base game, but it also provides support for other corresponding activities locked behind dlc. For example, if flower arranging tables are on the lot during a Gardening Club meeting, sims will automatically want make flower arrangements.

I personally prefer/recommend throwing club gatherings on lots that do not get a lot of visitors to better sims autonomy.

LEAVING CLUBS & BECOMING PRESIDENT

There are several ways for sims to change their role within the club including: leaving the club entirely, become president, kick members out of the club, etc. To leave a club a sim can simply decide to stop going to club meeting. When you click on your sim you will find an interaction to Leave Club under the Club Manager pie menu. This will work the same for members, presidents, and advisors.

I will leave the rest of the interactions for you guys to play with and explore in game.

TUTORING SESSIONS

At any time, all teens will be able to throw the Tutoring Session social event. At this event you will be able to select fellow students you would like to attend and during the time of the event these students will be encouraged to do their homework. During this event you will also of course be able to ask designated tutors with assistance with homework.

IMPORTANT MOD NOTES

⚠️The School Projects Addon will make it, so your sims do not need to own the club projects (parenthood) in order to start them. This will also enable sims autonomously working on them during Tutoring Sessions.

⚠️ This mod is base game compatible and does not REQUIRE any dlc in order for it to function.

⚠️ I recommend using Claim Objects or Destroy Objects for club gathering such as painting or flower arranging as sims do not automatically clean their space when done.

⚠️ Keep in mind sims spawning is impacted by how many sims you have set to spawn per zone. Due to this, if you are struggling with sims not appearing, I recommend hosting these events on lots that remain relatively empty
