Have you ever noticed that Sims are perfectly happy living with filthy toilets and dirty kitchen counters until you manually tell them to clean?
This mod improves cleaning autonomy by encouraging Sims to take care of household messes on their own.
Features
- Sims will autonomously clean dirty toilets.
- Sims will autonomously clean dirty kitchen counters.
- Sims with the Slob trait will continue to avoid cleaning tasks.
- Sims with the Neat trait keep using EA's original cleaning autonomy system.
- Cleaning only becomes attractive when dirty objects are actually present, preventing unnecessary cleaning behavior.
How It Works
This mod uses a lightweight false advertisement system to gently encourage Sims to clean when toilets or counters become dirty.
Because the autonomy boost only appears when cleaning is actually needed, Sims won't constantly interrupt their activities to clean perfectly spotless objects.
The result is a cleaner home with more natural-looking behavior and less micromanagement for players.
Compatibility
- Compatible with most gameplay mods.
- Does not override the original Neat trait behavior.
- Does not force Slob Sims to clean.
- Safe to use in existing saves.
