The Earth visual is based on publicly available NASA imagery. NASA states that its content is generally not subject to copyright in the United States and recommends acknowledging NASA as the source. NASA

The GIF shows the rotating Earth animation captured directly in-game, and all screenshots shown on this page are real in-game screenshots.
Important:

No additional dependencies are required.
Earth imagery reference/source: rather than spending seven days creating the Earth from scratch, I just borrowed mine from NASA.
