This hair, a half long hair hold back by a thin leather band, is converted from Sims Medieval.
No hat chops for this hair, as it already has the deco leather band. If you absolutely want a hat or a hood with it, use one with hat slider and it may work.
Found under Hats/Head Decorations. Change the headband colors there.
This new version is a hat hair. Base Game compatible. This means that you change the hair color in the hair section of CAS.
There is also a version without hair attached but with hat sliders, so you can use with any suitable hair.
In the merged file there is a file called HairOverlay, and if you want to edit the hair colors, you do it in this file. The mesh for hair is in the hat file. (I picked a different hair for the infant version, a bit shorter, so there is a separate overlay file for that.)

The kids hairs and headbands take their textures form the adult version - unmerge the files if you want to edit or remerge, but remember to keep the files together.
