Rebecca wanted to play-act working at a sweatshop with her cousin, but as Ana insisted on being realistic, the game quickly lost its fun. Soon after, she finds herself going to a real sweatshop and seeing that Ana was right. When the girls get caught in the middle of a strike, Rebecca takes inspiration and speaks out, getting injured in the process. New York City’s Labor Day picnic gives her another platform and Rebecca discovers that if she can stand up for others, she can stand up for herself as well.
