Hat Chop Mod

Tired of hats or ears clipping through your custom hairstyles in Sims 4? Me too. That’s why I made this Hat Chop Mod—a little helper file to fix weird mesh floaties and clipping when using accessories with hair.

This mod comes with:
💜 A blender version with a translucent hat chop texture already applied
🩶 A ready-to-use .package file for testing or adapting in Sims 4 Studio

The in-game version has no visible texture—it's completely transparent.
The Blender version, however, uses a stitched transparent texture to help you see where the edges are. This makes it easier to modify or reshape the chop if you choose to customize it. The outer stitches mark the edge of the hat chop area, the faint inner lines show where baby hairs usually begin, and the center represents the bulk of the hair.

Feel free to modify this to your liking—no credit needed if you release your own. Just a tiny thank-you if it helped you would mean the world. 💫
