Toyota Corolla Gen 3

The Toyota Corolla E30 is the kind of car that quietly gets the job done while flashier rivals trip over their own egos. This small Japanese workhorse was put together with impressive care, helping cement Toyota’s reputation for building cars that simply refuse to break down. It might look a bit doofy-like it’s permanently surprised to be on the road-but that just adds to its charm. Underneath, it’s sturdy, simple, and engineered to survive just about anything short of total neglect. Unsurprisingly, it sold in the millions, proving that reliability beats style more often than not. In short, it’s the automotive equivalent of a dependable friend who shows up on time, every time, even if their haircut is questionable.

This is my first mod for the Sims 4. I thought that most available cars for decoration were too flashy, expensive and/or modern for my taste. So I created this little friend, to put something in my driveway.

I made the model from scratch for another game, a few years back, where it got only very little attention, but I thought it would be perfect in the Sims, at least for the players who like a bit of a whimsical look and/or some vintage things in and around the house.

The car is

• with the deco elements in the buy mode and costs 5000 credits.
• has 7 different colours, that the car was sold in, in 1976 (plus two special paint jobs)
• needs no Expansion Packs - basegame only
• can stand outside, no problem. Its a trooper!
• can have some objects placed on its bonnet and roof
• can be looked at as a sculpture by the sims - I thought that would fit for a vintage car

Known issues:

• Objects can be placed under the can and clip though it. I don't know how to stop it from doing that.
• I wanted the sims to also be able to lay on the bonnet, as on a sun chair. I wasn't able to get that done.
• Feel free to message me if you can tell me how to fix these. But don't forget, I'm a noob.

Feel free to comment! I love comments
