I am beyond happy to finally share the first part of a brand-new, super exciting collection! After the more classic aesthetic of Nancy, over the next few months we’ll be focusing on a much more modern aesthetic, inspired by the one and only Midcentury Modern architecture!
This first part focuses on all the construction items you need to create the perfect shell for a modern home. I poured my heart and soul into this collection, as it’s something I’ve been wanting to create for such a long time and I’m honestly so proud to see the quality of my items getting better and better with every collection. I especially feel like there’s been a BIG jump in quality with this one, for the better and I really hope you can appreciate it too! 🥹
Every single item in this collection comes with both wood and metal swatches and I went above and beyond to make sure you could mix and match everything with all of the new colours:

For that same reason, I wanted to tackle pretty much every item in the Build category (hopefully I didn’t forget anything lmao): foundations, wall trims, platform trims, exterior wall trims, roof trims, spandrels, columns and more!
Apart from the obvious focus on the windows (which come in an absolutely insane amount of variations ahah), I especially love the front door! I think it could work really well for apartments too and it comes with a cute little keypad, so your Sims can enter a PIN to get into their boujee homes! I also decided to include a burglar alarm, since I already had the perfect mesh for it and… why not? 😂
I looove the stained glass archways too! I think they bring such a fun element and a little pop of colour to the set. And then there’s the geometric panelling, I had so much fun creating it and I think it adds a ton of character to the game!
I could honestly talk for hours about the skylights, but they’re pretty self-explanatory and I’ve already talked quite a bit about them in the previous WIPs, so I’ll spare you the essay this time.
This is only the beginning of the collection and I genuinely cannot wait to show you what’s coming next!

Note: It's very easy to confuse doors & windows, here are a few tips: doors are all in the top on the list for searching for THE70s and they have a different price from the windows; if you notice that the "window" doesn't adjust the height when dragging on the wall, it's probably a door lol; both doors and windows come with an overlay showing their height to help you find them more easily.
🔶 COMPATIBILITY
Everything should be base-game compatible.
Some items share the same texture so you need to have all the files ending in "_textures" in your mods folder for all items to work properly.

You can find the items easily in your Build/Buy Catalog by typing in "LUKHEYA" or "THE70S" or "THE 70S PART 1". Panelling, Foundation, Platfrom, Column, Trim, Spandrel & Roof Trims will only show up in its respective category.
