In ancient time they didn't have TVs, but I think they enjoyed other things in a more extended way than we do. Like hot beverages. In this case a briki set, and yes, they like to look at it, not drink from it. This might seems odd to you, but, honestly: is it the strangest thing you have seen a sim do?
Sims can choose channels, get skills, fill their happiness-bars and enjoy it in the same way they would if it was an actual TV. It can be placed on most surfaces or on the floor.
Note that the TV does not have any images or screen. (But it does have a remote control unfortunately)
There are a few other TVs working in the same way, to fit in historical games, just search for Psefita here at CurseForge. (You can also find them in my original blog post here.)
You will find the objects in game where you normally find TVs, or by searching for Pseftia or KyriaT.
Update 19.01.2025: The TV's now work with video game consoles again. (Broken since the December 24 patch.
