Medieval Tapestries

Medieval homes, be they made of stone, wood, wattle and daub or primitive brick were nearly always difficult to keep warm. Woven wall coverings, much like rugs on the floors, helped to keep the cold out and the heat in.

An the more money you had, the more decorative and intricate these tapestries could be.

These six tapestries have been woven from the finest silks, soft fine wools and metal fibres, all dyed with the richest most expensive dyes. Perfect for the home of any Royal, Noble or successful merchant.
