Description
I wanted to build a Minoan castle but didn't find the elements I needed to achieve the look I wanted. So I had to make them.
Ideally I would have liked to have columns with the original shape, but I couldn't find a working mesh. Minoan columns were tapered at the bottom, larger at the top, and fitted with a bulbous, pillow-like capital. They were made of wood and painted.
Simcredible!'s columns were easy to place and stack, so I went for them, in combination with a pouf that I raised to the height I wanted. If you want to see how I've used them, have a look at my Manthos Palace. The colors are from my Knossos palette.
These columns were originally posted on my blog as part of a larger set (in two parts), and all elements will be uploaded here at CurseForge at some point. :)
Since these are decor elements and not functional columns, you will find them in the Decor/Misc section - not were other columns are - or by searching for Manthos or KyriaT.
