IKHAS Part 1

I am so excited to finally share this one with you: IKHAS Part 1! I tested the very first objects for this set two months ago (doing things like figuring out how big the window screen meshes needed to be), and the anticipation of getting to show it to you has been building ever since.

This new collection revolves around Glamping, a theme I’ve been dreaming of doing for years, and it's finally happening! This first month is all about the basics: the tent. I designed it so all the pieces match seamlessly, making the whole structure feel like a cohesive unit. The exterior pieces come in 15 swatches, and the interior includes those same colour options plus 5 extra patterns.

I think the result is incredibly versatile. You can build a cosy, one-room tent or a massive one with plenty of space and separated sections. I’ve tested it out with both traditional (Estate) and modern (Soho) furniture, and I’m so happy with how beautifully it pairs with different styles. Conceptually, it was such an interesting challenge trying to make the rather rigid building system of The Sims 4 look soft, draped, and fabric-like.

Here is what is included in Part 1:

• Windows and panoramic screen windows

• Arches with built-in curtains

• A curtain sliding door

• Walls for both the exterior and interior

• Ceiling pieces

• Lots of different blinds

• A banyan tree and a Livistona palm for ambience!

Most of these pieces will work perfectly fine without cheats, but if you run into any placement difficulties, just turn on move objects, and you'll be good to go :D

Unfortunately, one month just wasn't quite enough time to get all the pieces done, so I will continue next month with even more tent additions (like the front door, roof colours, and so on), as well as more plants to build out the landscaping! But I think this month is a fantastic starting point for building your glamping dreams. I can't wait to see what you create with it!
