The Celestial Ring is a single player scenario map featured in the Maporino 2020 contest: 'Quarantino'
It features 2 new factions pitted against each other on a Xel'Naga world known as the Celestial Ring.
Each faction is constructed completely from custom models that can be found on my assets page.

The Plot
The Celestial Ring, an ancient Xel'Naga shrine world, home to a hub of cosmic energies once used by the Xel'Naga in their race-shaping activities.

When the Protoss discovered the Celestial Ring, a small faction of Xel'Naga loyalists settled on the planet to study the Xel'Naga artefacts found there. In particular the inscriptions regarding the augmentation of lesser races intrigued the Protoss excessively to the point where they developed a grand obsession to uncover its workings. As a result, the Protoss grew increasingly detached from their kin. Moreover they started to believe the knowledge on the Celestial Ring was theirs and theirs alone.
Until recently however... another force in the sector also discovered the Xel'Naga world. Fearing the corruption of the Celestial Ring, the Protoss engaged their enemy with unrelenting might.

The Factions
-Celestial Guardians, a Protoss isolanionist faction that believes the secrets of the Celestial Ring is theirs. Any intrusion in their ways is dealt with swiftly and harshly.
-New Confederacy, a Terran faction previously unknown to the Protoss. While bearing a name similar to another, their technology and strategic methods are completely unlike any the Protoss and ever encountered before.

Playing the Scenario
1) Download the map (in .zip format) and unzip the folder.
2) Place the map on a location of your choice.
3) Open the map via the SC2 Editor.
4) Use the "Test Document" button (F9 default shortcut).
5) Enjoy the map!
