DTR changes a lot of standard StarCraft II and you may be a bit lost since it gives new ways to play the 3 races, with plenty new additions and with some old-fashion elements. New buildings, new units, new abilities, new user interfaces, new sounds, new images, new gameplay mechanics ... new things to come ! Here an introduction to DTR :

New UI with a dedicated command panel for DTR : All 3 races got modifications to how to build the base.
Manage resources between Minerals and Energy Power, an equivalent to electricity and works with power sources supplied by specific buildings. Take control of the map by expanding your bases.
Harvest minerals like in an old-fashion RTS games. Less workers but more effectiveness, and this means the game is faster !
Build and defend your base with new possibilities, train units to attack your enemies with new compositions. Familiar faces come back with new ways to play.
Add pressure to players with 3 types of Super Weapon (SW) : Offensive (OSW) to deal terrible terrible damages, Defensive (DSW) to control the field, Variant (VSW) to deflect SW or will you take the risk to switch to its destructive ability ?
New neutral buildings such as houses, banks, bonus centers, mineral extractors etc. give maps a new angle to play the game !
A bunch of game parameters to adjust in the salon for your own experience.

Updates and fixes for melee AI are coming !
