Non-canon Flavor - The mass manufacturing of light infantry armor meant that outlying Dominion colonies would often receive large amounts of it. Wasting no time, colonial militia would often don this armor when they had no CMC suits on hand in order to gain at least some form of protection. Paired with C-14 Gauss Rifles from the Great War Era which did not require powered armor to operate, these Colonial Troopers act as the first line of defense alongside the more powerful Marine brethren in case of a pirate attack, and Zerg or Protoss incursion.
