Yield Sliders

In-game yield sliders for Mining, Woodcutting and Fishing, right in the pause menu (Esc). Set Mining x3, Woodcutting x2, or anything from 1x to 10x. More of the normal drops, same loot tables, junk not multiplied. Works alongside XP Sliders.

What's new

Yield Sliders 1.5.0

  • Foraging now also covers the loose stuff you pick up that gives no XP: ash branches, loose stone, bones, wild pumpkins and wild cadava berries. (Hollow bark gives Woodcutting XP, so the Woodcutting slider covers it.)
  • New Salvage slider: salvage piles (metal, animal, textile, plant, food and drink, potions, misc) and the Garou and Scorned Wilderness artifacts. Skill tomes, vault cores and Garou chits are never multiplied. Herbs and flax from plant piles stay on the Plants slider.
  • Rune essence from the floating essence geysers is covered by the Mining slider (the game counts those hits as Mining).
  • Mining and Woodcutting no longer multiply things that don't come from a rock or a tree: bars, grindstone results, stone blocks, pottery, planks, charcoal and bird nests.
  • The new Salvage slider is in the GATHERING YIELD window and in Mod Menu. It starts at your All gathering rate.
  • Your saved settings are untouched. Every old key in config.txt still works the same.

Stations and crafting (new, all off by default)

  • New Stations sliders: Furnace, Sawmill, Cooking stations (campfire, grill, stone and bronze range), Grindstone, Loom/spinning/tanning, Kiln/stonecutter/brewing, and one for Crafting benches. They sit in a second column of the GATHERING YIELD window, in Mod Menu under Stations, and in config.txt.
  • They all start at 1.0, which means off. If you just update, nothing about your stations changes.
  • A station slider changes the recipe itself, so the game makes the bigger batch on its own. I don't add anything to your bag for this.
  • Only things that stack are multiplied. Tools, weapons, armor, capes and trinkets are never touched. Vendors and the composter are never touched either, and if a vendor sells the same recipe as one of your benches, that recipe goes back to normal the moment you open the vendor.
  • A bench's recipes get picked up the first time you open that bench in a session. Processing stations (furnace, sawmill and so on) are all covered about 40 seconds after you load into the world (the mod waits that long on purpose so it never touches anything while the world is still loading).
  • Put a slider back to 1.0 and it's back to normal within a couple of seconds. Leaving the world puts everything back too.
  • Gathering sliders don't multiply station results, so a batch isn't multiplied twice. The one overlap left: salvage piles really do drop bars, leather, cloth and a few other things stations make, and those stay on the Salvage slider.
  • What I've tested in game: the sawmill (planks 2 -> 4 at x2), the furnace (bronze 2 -> 6 at x3), the campfire, the stone range and the crafting table (stackable results doubled, a stone pickaxe stayed at 1). The grindstone, loom, kiln and the other benches use the same code but I haven't run them yet.
  • Also not tested in game yet: wild pumpkins and the salvage piles. Flax, cadava berries, bones and essence were.
