Mod Menu 2.0.2
Real sliders in the Quick Panel, and F4 now switches editing on and off.
New
- Quick Panel sliders: a pinned slider is now a real slider you drag with the mouse, drawn with the game's own slider art: the dark inset track and the diamond handle from the game's settings sliders, with the bar filled in from the left up to the handle. Drag it either way, or click anywhere on the track to jump there. It lands on the setting's steps and stops at the minimum and maximum. The value stays shown next to it.
Changed
- F4 (the Quick Panel edit key) is now a switch: press it once to use the mouse on the Quick Panel, press it again to play. Holding it down counts as one press. Esc, opening Mod Menu, the pause menu and loading another world also end editing. The box shows "F4 to edit", and "F4 to finish" while you edit.
- The - and + buttons of pinned sliders are gone, along with their hold-to-repeat. On a controller (Controller edit, hold View) LB and RB still pick the row and X and Y still step a slider one step at a time.
Known limits
- Settings with many small steps (for example 0.5 to 10 in steps of 0.1) have small steps on the Quick Panel slider; for an exact value use the controller steps or the setting's page in the menu.
- Editing still ends by itself after 60 seconds with no change.
- Controller editing of the Quick Panel (Controller edit, hold View) is off by default. With it on, a quick View tap is not reliable while pins are shown, and now and then an X or Y press does not step.
- The Keys page can't see keys that native (DLL) mods bind on their own.
