Pal Insight - Inspect & Search Pals and More
Pal Insight blends into Palworld so naturally that it feels like it should have been part of the game from the start.
Inspect Pals, search your entire storage, locate valuable targets in the world, and extend Palworld's HUD through a native-style, client-side interface.

Installation
Steam — main file
- Install the Palworld-specific experimental build of RE-UE4SS.
- Install the main Pal Insight file with the CurseForge App, or extract it manually into the Palworld game folder that directly contains the
Pal directory.
- Start Palworld. Hold Left Alt while looking at a Pal, and press F6 to open Settings.
Xbox App / PC Game Pass / Microsoft Store — additional file
Use the Game Pass Experimental file from this project's Files page and install it manually. The CurseForge App's Palworld support is for Steam, so the WinGDK package is provided as an additional manual download.
Do not combine CurseForge, Nexus/manual, Steam Workshop, or Game Pass copies. If upgrading from an old build that contained PalInsightSettings, remove that retired UE4SS mod directory first. Your saved settings remain in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Pal\Saved\PalInsightSettings.lua.
Target Beacons

Display optional colored light pillars for:
- Lucky Pals
- Mimogs
- Rampaging Pals
- Species captured fewer than five times
- Pals whose Health, Attack, and Defense Potential all meet your configured thresholds
- Pals whose three Potential values are all exactly zero
- Ominous Pal Eggs around the World Tree
Each category can be enabled independently. Detection distance, Potential thresholds, and update-frequency presets can be configured in game. Beacon discovery, tracking, visibility, priority, and object reuse are optimized to avoid unnecessary repeated work.
Complete Feature Set
Inspect Pals without interrupting gameplay
- View Paldeck number, level, portrait, gender, status, food, capture progress, condensation level, and same-species Palbox total.
- View Health, hunger, attack, defense, work speed, capture count, and all three Potential values.
- View Partner Skill, equipped Active Skills, Passive Skills, Work Suitability, base movement speeds, and possible drops.
- Supports ordinary, Alpha/BOSS, Lucky, human, owned, and defeated targets.
Control how the inspection panel appears
- Choose Hold, Toggle, or Always On.
- Follow the inspected Pal or use any of six fixed screen positions.
- Configure scale, opacity, distance, aiming behavior, target rules, shortcuts, and visible sections.
Search your entire Pal storage
Search the Palbox, Pal Expedition Station, Pal Essence Condenser, and Pal Disassembly Conveyor by:
- Paldeck number
- Species name or nickname
- Partner Skill
- Equipped Active Skills
- Passive Skills
Search preserves Palworld's native cards, filters, pagination, selection, and detail views. You can also open Palworld's View Details screen directly from the Expedition Station and Essence Condenser.
Add optional world and HUD information
- Show the player's or current mount's real-time speed beneath the hunger bar.
- Show the species capture total beside Palworld's native Pal Sphere indicator.
- Configure Paldeck numbers independently for the inspection panel, ordinary world HP gauges, BOSS world HP gauges, and Palbox details.
- Reveal Potential information in the inspection panel, Party, Palbox, world HP gauges, and incubator results.
Configure Potential and Progressive Reveal
- Set independent capture requirements for different information categories.
- Customize Potential colors.
- Use virtual Potential Vision without equipping Pal Tamer Goggles.
- Configure each Potential display surface independently.
When Pal Tamer Goggles are equipped, Palworld controls its native Party, Palbox, and world Potential displays. The inspection panel, incubator results, and Potential colors continue to follow their own settings.
In-Game Settings and Controls
Press F6 to open Settings. Changes apply immediately and are saved locally.
Quick Presets are available for Keyboard / Mouse, Controller / TV, and Handheld play. Most features can be enabled, disabled, and configured independently.
- Left Alt: Inspect the Pal under the crosshair
- F6: Open Settings
- F7: Toggle virtual Potential Vision
- Tab: Enter or leave search input inside supported storage screens
- L3 + R3: Open Settings with a controller by default
Text search requires keyboard and mouse. Controllers can browse and select filtered results.
Native-Style and Performance-First
- Uses Palworld UI resources, icons, controller artwork, and localized game text
- Automatically follows the language selected in Palworld
- Supports all 17 interface languages currently available in the game
- Uses bounded background work, delayed search updates, reusable result pages, and reusable Target Beacons
- Runs entirely on the client; no server installation is required
- Does not modify save data
- Works in single-player and multiplayer
Palworld Breeding Calculator
Use the CrateX.app Palworld Breeding Calculator to import a save, compare routes using the Pals you already own, or search general breeding combinations. Save processing runs locally in your browser and remains on your device.

Troubleshooting
If Left Alt inspection works but F6, Palbox Search, or other Blueprint-powered features do not, close the game and confirm that BPModLoaderMod : 1 is enabled in UE4SS's Mods/mods.txt. Also confirm that only one Pal Insight installation channel is present.
Bug reports should include your platform, Palworld version, Pal Insight version, UE4SS build, reproduction steps, input device, complete UE4SS log, and any available crash files.
