
This trial makes use of Oaken's unique spawn system, which spawns units 1 tile further if there is not enough room for it.
Your goal as the player is to prevent this behavior and make units spawn only in the first line, where you can eliminate them. If you fail to do so, the unit will spawn on an unreachable tile, and you won’t be able to eliminate it anymore. If you want to see what a loss looks like, just skip all the way through the first level.
The trial contains 7 levels of various difficulty and a boss room. In the boss room, you will find a friend – can you protect him?
Due to how the game works, Line of Sight (LoS) spells/skills/shooters' range doesn’t see through gaps in tiles. Be mindful of that while picking Line of Sight (LoS) cards or placing shooters on tiles your hero can move on.
Due to technical limitations, there are two things I have to ask you:
- In case of a loss (enemy spawned on an unreachable tile), please jump into the chasm – otherwise, the game will not end.
- PLEASE don’t pick up the “reclaim” spell if you step upon it, or at least don’t use it on the unreachable tile.
