A groggry breath, a cold metal tabble, and the soft hum of failing generators - that's the moment the furry awoke, alone in a lab that smelled of dust, ozone, and something far older. Your ears twitched at the distant groans of the undead outside the shattered facility walls. A Flickering red emergency red lights painted the room in pulses, like a hearthbeat tyring to restart.

You arent alone for long.

You come to in a dim, dust‑choked room. Three silhouettes step inside, pistols raised but steady. Their eyes scan you—pulse, breathing, and most importantly, any sign of bite marks. Your voice cracks as you ask what’s happening. One of them finally answers: You’ve been unconscious for five years. The world fell to a zombie outbreak, and by sheer luck, they found you alive.

They explain that fur zombies—mutated, animalistic variants—are far tougher to kill than the regular infected. As the memories return, you recall the last thing you experienced: the flash of an IED detonation during your deployment. You were Ex‑Delta Ops, and somehow you survived what should have been fatal.

One of the survivors hands you a sidearm. Instinct takes over—you check the chamber, the magazine, the weight. Before you can fully orient yourself, distant groans and guttural growls echo through the halls. The zombies have caught your scent.

You move out as a unit, but the horde is faster than expected. You fire, you fight, but the numbers overwhelm. Just as the infected close in, a blinding surge of energy engulfs the room.

In an instant, you’re somewhere else—another room, untouched by decay. A voice reverberates from everywhere and nowhere at once. The accent is unmistakable: German.

He introduces himself as Dr. Edward Richtofen.

He congratulates you—almost cheerfully—on still being alive. But his tone shifts quickly to urgency. You must escape the area immediately and find a safe location. Time is running out.

Before the connection fades, he leaves you with one final revelation: Samantha is behind the apocalypse. And the zombies are already converging on your new position.
