Wasserland

City inspired by a lot of beutifull things

So, the first question here is: What is Wasserland? Technically, it’s just a city in Minecraft, but in our hearts, it’s something more—something intriguing, strange, bizarre, and beautiful all at once. It’s not just another city, like many other worlds out there; it’s a place where my friends and I have poured our hearts into.

Jokes aside, I decided to build it because I had nothing else to do, and I wanted to create something beautiful in Minecraft—mainly to take screenshots with shaders. Over time, as you can see, it grew much larger than I initially planned. I invited my friends to join, and together, we expanded it even further.

Currently, the city is divided into 3 sectors and is connected by a metro line.

Alongside, Wasserland is not just the name of a city but also of a country. Yes, it’s more than just a city; it’s a city-state. It has its own constitution and laws, a small parliament, an even smaller tribunal (located in the same building), some defense forces (a single warship), and even its own language. For those wondering, the language is a mix of German, English, Romanian, and Russian—essentially a blend of all the languages I know.

As I mentioned earlier, it is divided into 3 sectors, connected by a metro system with 1 main line

Sectors are:

Sector 1: Reichland, marked with blue
Sector 2: Neuland, marked with red
Sector 3: O. Sfent wasser, marked with orange

*New Neighborhood is a part of reichland, not marked on this map, but seen on bigger maps earlier

*Big interchange station is not altplatz, it is neuplatz, altplatz is terminus station for metro

As mentioned earlier, the city has a metro system. Earlier city had 3 lines, but recently i decided to remove them a construct a new metro system, better, with new type of train. Now Reichmetro system have 1 line with currently 4 stations, that connects city on both banks of wasser river and O. sfent wasser. Also city features now a tram system (strassenbahn, marked with yellow on map) with 2 lines: Mist->Peremohi (possible transfer to Reichsmetro M1), and Fairpunkt->Parlamentplatz.

Also it is important to note city electricty grid, globally electricity is managed by state company wasserenergo, and is separated into globally 4 grids, 2 of them are interconnected.

Blue zone - Hidropower grid

Green zone - Nuclear grid

(Blue zone and green zone are interconnected via 2 underwater cables, and may partially replace each other)

Orange zone - Coal generation grid 1

Red zone - Coal generation grid 2

Rest may not rely on electricty or have their own generators. Reichsmetro mostly use Nuclear energy, Strassenbahn mostly use energy generated from hydropower plant

Yes! While constructing new buildings, various ideas were implemented. For example, in sectors 1 and 3, you can find electric stations. If these are powered off or destroyed, the entire sector and the metro station would experience a blackout, among other consequences, same goes to sector 2, which is powered by a nuclear power plant.

It’s just funny to explore the city with friends and start destroying things while playing or shooting. I also think it could be interesting if you plan to play in roleplay mode, but I can’t be sure—I don’t have enough friends to test it out.
