HERE IS HOW TO UPDATE TO THE NEWEST VERSION OF
THE ADVENTURE MAP, AND KEEP YOUR ITEMS, LOCATION AND GAME PROGRESS
PLEASE NOTE THAT ITEMS IN YOUR CHESTS WILL NOT BE PRESERVED.
MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE ITEMS YOU WANT TO KEEP EITHER IN A BANK
OR IN YOUR INVENTORY.
WRITE DOWN ANY GAME CODES IN CASE YOU NEED THEM AGAIN.
Open the Save file for your OLD Three Ring Eden and Copy the Following information.
CUSTOMNPCS - FOLDER
PLAYER DATA - FOLDER
FORCEDCHUNKS.DAT
LEVEL.DAT
And put that into a Temporary folder for the time being.
In the newly copied folder open the:
CUSTOMNPCS - FOLDER
And Delete all the files except for the
folder called
PLAYERDATA
folder called
PLAYERDATA
NOW INSTALL THE NEW GAME FILES AS DESCRIBED ON THE DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS
ONCE YOU HAVE INSTALLED THE NEW GAME FILES
GO BACK TO THE FOLDER WHERE YOU PUT THE SAVE DATA FROM YOUR OLD GAME.
& COPY THOSE FILES
CUSTOMNPCS - FOLDER
PLAYER DATA - FOLDER
FORCEDCHUNKS.DAT
LEVEL.DAT
PLAYER DATA - FOLDER
FORCEDCHUNKS.DAT
LEVEL.DAT
AND PASTE THEM INTO THE NEWLY INSTALLED SAVE FILE
Allow it to overwrite the data, and boom you should be in the newest
version with all your progress saved.
