THE HOUSE HOLDER
The House Holder is a minecraft vanilla survival horror puzzle experience with very unique style. You need to solve the puzzles in the house to escape while trying to survive countless amount of entities trying to stop you. Every puzzle is different and unique. We give enough information to solve every puzzle for you and we can assure you will never get bored trying to solve them.

EACH GAMEPLAY IS DIFFERENT
The House Holder isn’t just a typical minecraft horror map. With 20+ random events and 30+ total events, you experience a different gameplay every run. There are monsters trying to kill you? Maybe they won’t appear in your second run, or maybe something worse will. The damage done to house reset every run. Every block, every item, every entity, every container resets.

EVERYTHING IS VANILLA
You don’t have to use any resource pack or mods to play The House Holder. Everything is made with vanilla sources. With very high detailed sound and visual designing, at some point you will forget that it’s vanilla anymore. The only thing we recommend using for better experience is the shaders we put in our folder with it’s custom settings(txt)file.

NO COMMAND BLOCKS
Everything is made by coding. The datapack we made that contains thousands of lines. Because there are no command blocks, you’re going to experience everything with zero lag and delay. Every code is written by Atenezii.

RANDOM EVENTS
Every random event has their own chance of happening. Some random events creates another random events that connect a lore between them. Some of them only appears when you’re in a certain area and some appear when you’re not in a certain area.

CHAIN EVENTS
Unlike random events, chain events are going to happen every run every time to connect the lore and puzzles together.

ENTITIES
There are many amount of entities that are trying to kill and stop you from escaping. There are also some entities that are harmless or harmless until you do something tothem to make them turn hostile against you. If you lived certain amount of events of one entity, you unlock a chance to get a secret item/tool that you can use to stop that entity from attacking you. (We may create a wiki website for all entities and the map itself inthe future)

ENVIRONMENTAL EVENTS
There aren’t only entity events. There are also environmental events such as quakes, cursed house, blood rain and more.

THE HEALTH & SANITY SYSTEM
When a monster/entity attacks you, there is 20% chance of your head or leg getting injured depending on the monster’s attack. Some monsters deal heavy damage tha tcan injure both of your legs and head. If your head is injured, it starts bleeding, you loose sanity and get nausea. If your legs are injured, you move slower and loose health if you try to run. You also need to keep your sanity high by keeping the lights on. More you stay in dark, more sanity you loose. To heal yourself, you need to find medical items such as bandages, splints and sanity pills stored inthe first aid boxes.

LIGHT SYSTEM
No lights, no good. When lights go off, you need to turn the breaker on and keep the lights on to make shadow monsters disappear and see better. More time you spend in dark, worse it gets for you.

THE LORE
The human population on earth is less than 1%. World’s been home to hell for 7 years. Everywhere is full of walkers and enormous monsters. Devourers appear at nights hunting everyone outside. They wait around houses with lights on for their next pray to step outside. After traveling through the whole destroyed city and looting abandoned markets. You dropped your backpack while running from a walker horde and spotted a house as a safe place to spend the night. But walkers are the least thing you need to be afraid of at nights. This house isn’t safe, neither the outside. You have to discover and solve the old house owner Alvarez’s secret puzzles to escape from the house.

THE ACHIEVEMENTS
The House Holder has it’s own achievements. Depending on the rare items you found during your playthrough, you can get achievements by placing them in end game lobby. Achievements does not affect ending.

THE MAKING PROCESS
The House Holder is made in 2 weeks. We spent 12+ hours everyday to make this possible. We believe this the most versatile minecraft vanilla horror experience that ever made to this day and we are proud of it. Huge respect to all map creators out there.
