The forgotten Book is an adventure map which will take you in the amazonian jungle, seeking for a sacred treasure.
You will find remains of an antic prosperous civilization : abandoned villages, huge temples and gemstons. In these ruins lies a legendary temple called "The Cupola", thus many other secrets. Explorers are especially appealed by one of them, a supposedly magic book. But none of those who tried to find it ever came back from their journey.
Will you find the Cupola ? Will you manage to be the first one to see The Forgotten Book and find all its secrets ? That is up to you.
Lots of obstacles and trials are waiting for you. You'll have to climb, explore, and solve several puzzles in order to reach the Cupola.

i keep getting stuck cuz some of the stuff won't load :( at first the rock im supposed to pick up wouldn't load and now the vines im supposed to climb to get out won't load

Epic graphics! One issue though:
I have shot down the crates in the second room and am told to left click to pick up some block. No matter what or how I click, nothing happens.

Intro
I found this map quite enjoyable but it has a couple major flaws. The story was great and the map design was beautiful. At first the map is super simple with the Help Item clearly showing you the way. But when you reach the wall there is a block that acts like a ledge despite you knowing nothing about the mechanic.
More about Ledges:
I think you guys should have included a tutorial or something about the ledge so the player both knows what to look for and how to use the mechanic. That being said, the ledge mechanic itself I found to be very buggy, even just downright frustrating. There was a part of the map I found myself literally unable to use the ledge mechanic because it refused to work for some reason and I just turned on cheats and flew up to the spot I was trying to reach instead.
Other Concerns:
Now the ledge mechanic I had already found to be frustrating, but towards the end there is a lot of ground to cover with no clear reset point except for one all the way at the beginning of the area. I think you guys should have included a checkpoint system to make it easier to overcome those massive parkour areas with the faulty ledges.
And this brings me to my final point. The Help Item was clear in the beginning but towards the end I found that all the spots that it showed were quite vague. And in the final room there is a lot to do, but there was only help indicators above the Rock+Pressure Plate puzzles. I think there should have been a lot more Indicators, like almost over every ledge you need to go on, because then the path is actually clear rather than this vague, try your best to reach this spot, type of deal.
Conclusion (TL;DR)
The Story was great and the voicing and timing for it when you picked up the different letters was on point. Again beautiful map design and cinematic overview. A very interesting ledge mechanic that I felt was a bit unexplained and almost was too buggy to have as the primary parkour mechanic used. The Help Item could have been a lot better but all in all a great map with a lot of thought and effort making it so much greater than my expectations originally held.
I have no idea what to do. I'm stuck in the second room where it introduces movable crates, but I can't get any farther. An explanation that isn't vague would be nice.
Use your help item, it will tell you what to do. You have to cut the rope and use the fallen crates to get up.
