Description
Overview
天下一武道会 | Tenkaichi Budokai: World Tournament Map is a recreation of the Legendary World Martial Arts Tournament Temple from the Dragon Ball Series. Built from the ground up, it's a 1:1 recreation compatible with every game version starting from 1.7. made especifically to support the famous Dragon Block C mod, This idea came up as a simple desire while playing the game recently, Until I realized that there was not an official World Martial Arts Tournament place that the mod could support itself, where you could fight your enemies and friends especially during storyline duels. I originally planned to build this solely for myself, but after seeing how much work and dedication I was putting into it, I decided to publish it as a Full Project for the Minecraft Community.
Key Features
❱❱ Lore-Accurate Sizing: Built with strict attention to scale, ensuring the tournament stage
and stadium perfectly match the canonical proportions of the series for authentic combat
recreations.
❱❱ Vanilla-Friendly Design: Constructed using ONLY Vanilla block palettes, meaning the
arena looks visually stunning and highly accurate, even without using custom resource
packs.
❱❱ Fully Furnished Layout: The stadium isn't just an empty outer shell. It includes fully
detailed and furnished interior, including The Preliminaries Grounds, Dining Hall, Fighter
Lobbies, and even the Nurse's Room.
❱❱ Unbreakable Battle Stage: Powered by background FTB Utilities claims, the main arena
is completely immune to block destruction, allowing you to fight without
worrying about breaking blocks.
Highly Recommended Mods
- ❱❱ FTB Utilities
- ❱❱ WorldEdit
- ❱❱ Better Foliage
- ❱❱ SwanSong Shaders
While the map was built entirely with vanilla blocks and functions perfectly on its own, these mods function directly as a bridge to improve experience.
WorldEdit is the most essential tool here; it will gives you the tools to select and copy the entire tournament stadium building, save it as a schematic, and paste it directly into any of your own existing world saves.
FTB Utilities is the second most required mod, it'll help you lock down block data in the background to completely negate terrain damage while you fight rivals using explosive waves or energy blasts.
Better Foliage and SwanSong Shaders act just as your visual support system, It will improve overall atmospheric lighting, adding dynamic shadows to Ki releases, and delivering a much more vibrant, lived-in aesthetic to the surrounding environment, these are just optional dependencies but still very recommended.
How to transfer data files into your Minecraft Save
This world save features a custom, lore-accurate background sign made using MapArt. After transferring the building using WorldEdit to your Minecraft save, you will have to also transfer the map files into your Minecraft save so you can place the MapArt on the item frames. For that, you have to create 53 maps in your Minecraft World to create the default map files. After that, you will have to Navigate to your Minecraft directory and open saves/Tenkaichi Budokai/data, Once you get there, copy all of the 53 map files named from map_0 to map_52 if you haven't created any maps before those. After doing this step you will have to be very careful with how the numbers of the maps are distributed, Make sure they match the same names, For example: map_0. After doing this step correctly, just replace all of the data files on the 'data' folder of your Minecraft Save and Done! the MapArt will be successfully loaded. Final Step: Once you load your world, head over to the Main Arena. There you will find a chest containing all the maps—equip them in your inventory. To help you place them correctly I included a PNG image in the Gallery. This image features a grid breakdown of the Large Sign, so it becomes much easier for you to place each map frame.
⚠️ WARNING: In case you have already generated maps in your existing save, Make sure you know which numbers of the maps you are replacing before placing the 53 data files into your data folder so you don't get confused or delete them accidentally using Creative Mode, make sure to adjust the numbers (They are not recoverable once deleted).
