Start on a tiny floating island surrounded by the void. Every Minecraft day, the island transforms into a completely random block. Sometimes you’ll get valuable resources… and sometimes you’ll have to survive with the worst luck imaginable.

No two playthroughs are ever the same.

Beginner Tips

Take the Starter Chest if you’re playing for the first time.
Build your base next to the island, not on it.
Don’t stand on the island when the day changes.
Collect every block—you never know what you’ll need later.
Fighting mobs from a distance is much safer.
Playing with friends makes the experience even more fun.
